There’s no worse feeling that realizing you’ve misplaced your engagement or wedding ring! The key to avoiding that dreaded moment is to have a few dedicated spots to place your rings whenever you need to take them off. That way you’ll only have a few places to check when you realize you aren’t wearing your rings…and that won’t be under the fridge or in between the couch cushions!
When we got engaged, my sister gifted me this really cute ring dish customized with our initials that she purchase on Etsy. It’s great to have a safe place to put my ring when I’m cleaning, applying lotion or getting my hands dirty.
With just over 3 weeks to go until the wedding, my posting frequency is definitely going to be dropping down even more as we take care of final details, welcome our families from out of town, and squeeze in some holiday fun, too.
This year has flown by. I can’t believe that the day that we’ve been working toward for months is almost here. We’re so excited to see it all come together and to get married!
I have been doing a lot of wedding DIY projects, and am really excited to share them on the blog. It just might take a while.

Earlier this fall, we took Dia Saleh up on the opportunity to shoot some fall engagement photos. We kept things casual, and lucked out with a beautiful fall day. All those gorgeous leaves didn’t look so great a week later after days of rain.
